In true Storybook Cook fashion, this camp will focus on some fun food books and make the food represented in their pages.
Monday: Based on the books, Dragons Eat Tacos 1 & 2, by Adam Rubin, we will be making a couple different kinds of tacos and a few sides; home salsa, Spanish rice and cinnamon sugar crispy tortillas.
Tuesday: Based on the book, Dragons Eat Noodles on Tuesdays, by Jon Shahl, we will be making a couple of sauces from scratch to go on our pasta, we'll even make a "spaghetti and meatball" cupcake for something sweet.
Wednesday: Based on the book, Secret Pizza Party, by Adam Rubin, lets make some delicious pizzas with various crusts, sauces and toppings, and then make a dessert pizza!
Thursday: Based on the book, Marshall Mellow, by JJ Landis, today we'll be making indoor s'mores and more treats mainly made using marshmallows. So bring your sweet tooth.
Note: Bring a water bottle and dress for a mess! This is a drop-off program. Please note any food allergies upon registering. Bring a large container with you to bring home your creations.
